Birthday Finale

Here is Charlotte's big birthday present! She calls it her "playground". Thank you to all of our wonderful family members who chipped in & helped us buy it. We have played on it everyday!!!

Birthday, Part 2

On Charlotte's actual birthday, we went out for her favorite spaghetti dinner at Pete & Sam's with DeDee, MattO, and Cristin. The menu: toasted ravioli, spaghetti, and another birthday cake!!!!

Happy Birthday!!

Charlotte Faye is 2!!! Unlike last year, we set out to have a much more low-key celebration for the 2nd time around. It was definitely a smaller affair, but the celebrations carried on for over a week! It has been a little difficult explaining to Charlotte that her birthday is over - she still wakes up asking about cake and presents. Here are some pictures of our family celebration. It was also Momma Charlotte's 80th birthday & Aunt Emily's birthday!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

We went to a Redbirds game tonight to take advantage of a not too hot August night. We didn't really watch much baseball; we chased Charlotte around with baseball in the background, but it was fun nonetheless. I would have to say her favorite part was the giant ice cream come Matthew bought her!

Update

We have had 3 days in a row with some positive potty action! Charlotte is not on the potty every time of course, but she has used the toilet successfully at least once each day. Keeping my fingers crossed!
